This is a staff group that is ultimately in charge of RuneHQ. They help ensure that everything runs smoothly, while focusing on their respective groups and supporting the site as a whole. Site Admins run the behind the scenes action at RuneHQ, making sure the best quality of content is on site while keeping the forums in pristine condition. 

The current active Site Admin positions, and a little about what they do, include:

• Forum Admin - Handles anything to do with the forums in general.
• Community Admin - Handles all the social media and community engagement part of out amazing site, including competitions and Events.
• Content Admin - Makes sure all the content seen on the main site is done correctly and in a timely fashion.
• Clan Admin - Handles everything to do with the RuneHQ clan on RuneScape.

Stormys_Amazon and Dravan are the current Owners of RuneHQ and also act as Site Admins. It is thanks to them, and Mr Stormy initially, that RuneHQ is here with us today.

Site Admins have a Rank Image next to all their posts, saying "Site Admin".

New Members

This is the first group all members will be a part of. Members in this group can be identified by their names in Italic font and have a few restrictions. A New Member gets automatically promoted to Established Member after having made a certain number of posts (10 - 25).

Note: Spamming our boards to raise your rank will get you disciplined and comes with the chance of getting your post count reset.

It isn't too hard to reach the post count to become an Established Member. Check out the Accomplishments or Boss and Skillpet Drop boards and you should easily be able to congratulate enough people to become an Established Member. Your other option would be to purchase an Advanced Membership.

RHQ Established Members

This is the group where Normal Members who have shown to be active are on the forums. This group has no restrictions and should be able to use the forums freely. Most people remain in this group for their entire time on RuneHQ, unless they choose to purchase Advance Membership.

This Staff Group is in charge of moderating every forum on RuneHQ. They help ensure that our beloved forums stay safe, well organized, and friendly.

Moderators are responsible for.

• Viewing all new posts to ensure RuneHQ Rules are being followed everywhere.
• Disciplining users who break the RuneHQ Rules.
• Closing out-dated Topics and Topics which may result in rule-breaking.
• Moving Topics to the correct forums.
• Approving Topics which have been set invisible.

Moderators have a Rank Image on their profile and next to all their posts saying "Moderator".

This is a Staff Group, which can view the Staff Boards and has a specific area of the forums assigned to manage. You can find out about the management area of a member in this group by looking at the title.

• Content Managers
  • They are in charge of the Submissions forums. They also help to manage the team of Content Editors by giving tutorials to new editors, helping to check work logs, and helping to keep the Guides and Databases updated. Their responsibilities also include those listed for Content Editors.
  • They have the same permissions as the Forum Managers, however, it is best not to contact them regarding forum related issues (unless is it related to the Submissions Forum). You can feel free to contact them regarding any of the Guides or Databases on the main site.

• Forum Managers
  • They are in charge of overseeing the well-being of the forums as a whole. They adjust their Moderator Team, give Moderator Tests and Tutorials, check disciplines, make sure the Moderators are doing their job, add/remove/change things on the Forums, add/remove/change things on the Category Rules, and a lot of other things behind the scenes. They have all privileges that Moderators have.

• Community Crew Managers
  • They are responsible for helping people on site, as well as through Discord and Social Media, and planning various fun activities in game and on the forums. They are in charge of the graphics team, social media, and Events Team! 

• Developer Managers
  • They are responsible for overseeing site projects. These projects can ensure that things run smoothly and/or look pretty. They and their team do their best to ensure that everything is in working order and any bugs are handled in a quick as possible manner.

All managers have a tag that is under their name:

Developers are essentially the IT Support for RuneHQ.

These are the people who help code areas of the site, such as creating calculators, improving site layout, and fixing any errors that you guys might be receiving. They are skilled in one or more different programming languages and keep the RuneHQ servers and site stable.

If you ever submit a bug report for RuneHQ, it will usually be these people who will be handling it.

This Staff group is in charge of all things community related. We have some dedicated staff to following areas, these are:

Social Media:

• Twitter: Advertising and promoting RuneHQ.
• Facebook: Advertising and promoting RuneHQ.
• Youtube/Twitch: Create videos and streams.

Graphics:

• Providing requested images for staff (banners, signatures, forum awards).
• Events posters if we still want to use these.
• Seasonal logos.
• Images for social media outlets.

Events Team:

• Organize and participate in In-game events.
• Update the Official Events board, Calendar, Discord (#events-and-competitions), and front page with upcoming events.

Community Crew members have a Rank Image next to all their posts, saying "Community Crew".

This group is in charge of the Official RuneHQ Clan, they moderate all issues held within the clan.

These users have their own section on the forum. And while they have in-game clan powers, they are just normal users here on the forums. But because they are highly respected on the RuneHQ forums, they have their very own special badge!

This is a Staff Group that can view the Staff Boards. Users in this group help out by editing the Site Guides and Databases. They keep the site up-to-date with the newest Guides and Calculators, as well as Persons, Items, and Monsters.

Users can join this group by filling out an application, here, after reviewing all topics with this subforum. Please note that short applications with bad grammar and spelling won't even be looked at. Write an in-depth application with correct grammar and spelling to be considered. Please note that this is not the only thing we look for in Applications. There are a lot of things which we require from our future Staff. Often times, we find that RuneHQ Content Editors are chosen from those who actively post updates and changes in our submissions forum. Contributing to the site regularly can also help you in your application.
 

Content Editors that go above and beyond the normal duties are deemed as Senior Content Editors. They consistently update the site and are the go-to people for any submission related questions.
 

Content Editors have a Rank Image on their profile and next to all their posts, saying "Content Editor" and Senior Content Editors have one that  saying "Senior Content Editor" .

Still want to giveback to RuneHQ, but you're not a Staff Member? You can always submit new updates and information in our Content Submissions board.

These users help RuneHQ by donating money ($2 for 1 month, $5 for 3 months, $10 for 6 months, or $20 for the year) to RuneHQ. Because of their donation, they are placed in a group which has many advantages over RHQ Established Members. Here is a full list of benefits:

• Their own forums (2 in total) to discuss things.
• Preference over others in choosing Staff applicants.
• Personal Photo limits increased
• Max upload file size: 30 KB vs 20 KB
• Max width-Max height: 250x250 pixels vs 150x150 pixels
• Number of seconds for search flood control: 10
• Number of users to PM at once: 30 instead of 5
• Maximum number of stored messages: 1,000 instead of 100
• Can email members from the board: 20 every 24 hours and 1 every 2 minutes
• Can remove 'Edited by' legend

How do I donate to become an Advanced Member?

**Note: Advanced Membership can only be purchased using PayPal.

First off, click the link labeled 'Store' from the main user bar.

This should now bring you to our store. Click the main page of the store, click the "Advanced Membership" button and you will be taken to our options.

Here you will be able to purchase Advanced Membership. There are several different rates you can purchase for Advanced Membership depending on the length of time you wish to renew it by.

Click the time you wish for your membership to last and it will direct you to a page that gives a brief description of your choice. On this page, choose the quantity you wish to purchase and add to your cart.

After adding to your cart, you will be given two options. If this is all you wish to purchase choose to "Review and Checkout". If there is more you wish to purchase, choose to "continue Shopping" and review your purchase when you have all your choices in your cart.

Choosing "Review & Checkout" brings you to a new page where you have the option to alter your cart before completing your purchase.

If this is your first purchase, you will need to fill out some basic information that RuneHQ requires in order to complete your transaction.

After entering your information, it will have you confirm your purchase again. Select "Place Order And Pay" at the bottom left and you will be transferred to Paypal in order to complete the transaction.

Login to your PayPal account and follow the steps given to complete the transaction.

After you have paid, you will be redirected back to RuneHQ. Congratulations, you are now an Advanced Member!

How do I review past purchases, invoices, or renew membership?

These can all be done from the store. You can hover over the "Store" option for a moment, then choose one of the options listed.

• "Orders" shows your incomplete purchases. When the time comes, invoices will be automatically created here in order for you to renew your subscription to Advanced Members.
   
• "Manage Purchases"  shows your completed transactions.
   
• "My Details" allows you to edit your account information associated with the store.
