October is around the corner and with that is RuneHQ's b'day! During our Birthday month we've have a bunch of events lined up for you guys! As per usual we'll start and end the month with a b'day parade. We will start off at Lumbridge Castle and head off to Croesus at Senntisten, this time there will be no drop party at the start but we will do it another day, so keep your eyes peeled at our Events this month! The Elder God threat may have ended, but not all is quiet in Senntisten as Zamorakian forces stir and Gielinor’s fate hangs in the balance once more. Brave heroes must face the assembled forces of Zamorakian Undercity, deep below Senntisten. In order to save Gielinor itself we must face off against Zamorak himself and survive long enough to restore the Edict’s and expel the gods once more. Do you heed this call or will Gielinor fall? We've been to the Temple of Aminishi and the Dragonking Laboratory. Now It's time to delve down into the Shadow Reef, the third and currently final installment in the Elite Dungeon series. Deep within the Shadow Reef rests The Ambassador, one of the toughest bosses in game, and you've guessed it! Our Events Teams is taking him on in this weeks event! Deep under the Barbarian Outpost, there are foul creatures called Penance monsters. The barbarians have been trying to fight off the Penance creatures, but their efforts have not been very effective. They need more strong adventurers to come help them defeat the Penance monsters and ultimately taking down the Penance Queen. This can only be done with a team where everyone is doing their part and working together. If we defeat the Penance creatures, the barbarians may reward us with Honour Points which can be spent to from things like special armor to re-coloring your weapons! With two unsuccesful attempts from the Elder Gods to reclaim their eggs, Bik is ready to unleash her attempt. The threat to Gielinor is starting to grow, literally, as under the Senntisten graveyard Bik has revived and released Croesus. This fun guy/gal feeds upon the trophy kills of four zarosian heroes from the past, and we at RuneHQ hope that you will come help us clear the fungus, and restore the spirits of these heroes to help subdue Croesus once more. But take care, there is not mush-room for mistakes, and the fate of the world lies in our hands. Croesus is Runescape's first skilling boss, so no combat will be required. When Kerapac fled to Anachronia he discovered some ancient ruins deep beneath the island`s core. Here, he began experimenting on Raksha and eventually siphoning its great powers into a Bagrada Rex - Orikalka (Melee/ice), Corbicula Rex - Rathis (Ranged/poisonous) and a Pavosaurus Rex - Pthentraken (Magic/electrical). This trio of queens still reside beneath these ancient ruins! Do you have what it takes to take on these ancient dinosaur queens?? Maybe if you are lucky you will have the chance to grab some spear pieces from the ground. We hear Laniakea is interested in these as well. It is recommended to use hybrid gear and all 3 combat styles! Deep in the Heart of Gielinor a second war of the gods rages on. As each faction fights to defeat the other and accomplish the mission they set upon, adventurers have made their way into the battle and began to challenge the generals of the gods in hopes for new weapons and armor. The general of Zaros is Vindicta - an Ilujanka who is seeking revenge on the Twin Furies who killed her parents.
