TheLinuxNerd 1 Share Posted December 8, 2018 Hi, My question is how would I work my schedule around 2 apprenticeships that i currently have applied to? I recently interviewed at my local stonemason/bricklayers union for the masonry apprenticeship and the welders union as a backup plan. They said that usually the bricklayers starts at 7am and ends at 4-5pm. I also applied to the welders union also. My question is how to do both trades without one interfering with the other? Thank you.
Sirius XM 42 Share Posted December 8, 2018 Well you would have to organize yourself in how many hours you can do for each and make sure you organize your days properly. That's the number one rule with multiple jobs.
ChathMurrpau 286 Share Posted December 8, 2018 You can prolly talk to the manager at each location, they should help you figure out how to do both and work with each other/you. Good luck!
With Faith 31 Share Posted December 8, 2018 I second talking to whoever will be in charge of your scheduling. The two outcomes I can see is trying to do a 50/50 split, or having to focus on one as a 'primary' and not work as much in the other one right away. You will always want to account time in for sleep and personal time as doing all of that can very easily add to physical and mental exhaustion. Best wishes in sorting everything out
